Kombies, ZUPCO Busses Fight For Operating Space – Report

Private Kombi operators and ZUPCO bus operators are reportedly clashing over operating space at some ranks in the capital H metro reports.

The publication claims ZUPCO busses  have been accused of invading Private Kombis’ territory especially at 4th street and Charge office where the paper interviewed some operators who said:

We are having many problems due to these ZUPCO buses, they are causing a lot of commotion. Back then, we had our own parking bays where different kombis from different areas would park and load their vehicles, now we are just mixed as these ZUPCO buses have invaded our operating space. It is now difficult for the public to find their desired kombis

Tobhadhariswa mari dzema rank disc but vakutiita rough. (We pay our rank disk fees but they are still mistreating us). These ZUPCO buses do not pay anything yet they are being given special attention, this is not fair.

The ZUPCO busses scheme was introduced as a measure to subsidize transportation in urban areas which was now beyond the reach of many.
