The Information Deputy Minister, Energy Mutodi issued a stern warning apparently directed to Chamisa and other opposition parties who are pushing for the ruling party’s president President ED Mnangagwa, Newsday reports.

Mutodi reportedly in a statement aimed at Chamisa and other opposition parties who are up for what they call “the final push” said:

If anyone wants to take the law into their own hands and engage in such activities so as to discredit the government, the law will take its course and criminals will be jailed, even if they are leaders of political parties or whatever.

Opposition parties mainly the MDC for the past few months have not been able to hold a public gathering as the police issue them with prohibition notices citing different reasons.
