63 Year Old Falcon College Head Steps Down To "Let A Younger Person Take Over"

Falcon College’s Head Reginald Querl is stepping down after 18 years at the institution as he has said he has recognised the need for a younger person to take over, Sunday news reports.

Speaking to the publication about his decision to leave, Querl said:

At the end of the day, it’s a place where a younger person needs to take over, I’ve had a fantastic opportunity, I think my time is done. I thoroughly enjoyed it, it’s been absolutely amazing and I’ve been able to hopefully leave my mark there, which is very important to me.

Quel, who was at Peterhouse before going to Falcon College will be replaced by Dave van Wyk, a man the publication described as a deep-rooted Esigodini man who grew up in the area and went to school at Falcon College.
