Bikita Man Rapes Daughter-In-Law, Bribes Her With ZW$2 To Conceal Shenanigans
A 44-year-old Bikita man, Kudada Kudada has appeared before the court after he allegedly raped and threatened his daughter in law in January.
The court was told that on the 10th of January this year, Kudada proposed love to his daughter in law who was guarding the family fields against baboons, but, she turned down the offer threatening to tell her husband who was in Mozambique on a business trip.
The accused is reported to have threatened to evict the complainant, grabbed her and raped her once and then gave her a ZW$2 note warning her not to report the matter to anyone.
The complainant, however, reported the matter to her husband who returned from Mozambique in June. The complainant was then accompanied to the police leading to the arrest of the accused.
She was also taken to the hospital for medical tests which will be presented in court as evidence against the accused.

The court remanded the accused out of custody to the 5th of December for the continuation of trial.
