Network Glitch Derail Nurses Recruitment
The online application platform for nurses (e-recruitment), has been affected by networks challenges leaving prospective applicants stranded as a result.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Ministry of Health and Child Care admitted to experiencing the challenges with the nurses’ e-recruitment system and encouraged the applicants to continue trying. The statement reads:
The MoHCC would like to advise the general public that we are experiencing a challenge with the online recruitment Ecocash platform. Potential applicants should continue trying.
FeedbackOnce the EcoCash platform is up and running they should be able to submit their applications.
With the application deadline set for this Saturday, thousands of aspiring nurses are fearful that they could miss it.

To compound the issue, several applicants have reportedly lost money after the application fees money ($50) was deducted from their mobile wallets but did not reflect on the payment portal of the recruitment website.
