The United Nations has said that Zimbabwe is facing imminent severe starvation which is man-made. Among other things, the international organisation cites maladministration, drought and sanctions as some of the major factors worsening the crisis which is expected to drag until the end of the first quarter of 2020 when the country expects its next harvest.
