Vice President Constantino Chiwenga resumed his official duties on Monday morning at his Munhumutapa Offices.
Speaking to State media after attending the regular Monday briefing chaired by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, he said:
You know in Government we have our morning briefing every Monday. So we have had that and it went on very well with the President and the team that he works with.
We reviewed what transpired in the past week and what needs to be done this week. Everything went on very well.
Chiwenga returned to Zimbabwe on Saturday morning from China where he had been receiving treatment for an undisclosed ailment.
He had been in the Asian country for four months after he was transferred from a South African hospital.
