ZANU PF MP Dexter Nduna disrupted parliament’s Public Accounts Portfolio Committee chaired by MDC vice president Tendai Biti on Friday.
Nduna arrived after the meeting, which has been called to hear oral evidence from government-contracted inputs and equipment companies on Command Agriculture programmes, had started. Said Nduna:
An opposition party member cannot continue to chair this meeting. Excuse us chair.
MDC has failed to recognise my President Emmerson Mnangagwa. The legitimacy issue should be resolved through the Standing Rules and Orders Committee (SROC). Our issue is the party position.
The ruling party revealed recently that it will disrupt all committees chaired by MDC Alliance MPs in retaliation to the party’s refusal to recognise President Emmerson Mnangagwa as the legitimate head of state.
MDC Alliance MPs have staged walkouts from the August House whenever Mnangagwa appears.
So if you were voted in by the people please do us the honourable, fix the economy for us, stop naming old roads! If the economy was sound some of us wouldn’t care if you would want to rule forever. We have endured enough suffering for too long now. This country does not belong to Zanu PF but all who live in it. Things get bad for us the povo year-in-year-out but you guys just don’t care. Whatever is wrong with power changing hands in Zimbabwe? It is one thing to win a war of liberation and another to properly govern.
Ha ha zanu questions legitimacy, history is coming for you ignorant racist terrorist fools and believe it or not everything you do is documented filed and will be available in the future
