Prominent Zimdancehall chanter, Wallace Chirimuko, popularly known as Winky D has said that he would not comment on reports suggesting that he was going to release a new album before year-end.
Speaking through his manager, Jonathan Banda, the Gafa, as Winky D is called by his fans, dismissed reports that he has been frequenting Oskid’s office where he is purportedly working on a new album.
The Herald asked Banda if Winky D was dropping a new album before year-end but he gave an evasive answer. Banda said:
We have no comment on that one. My fear is that the comment might be misinterpreted.
There have been reports suggesting that the Gafa was in the studio where he was working on a project to be expected before Chrismas.
This year, Winky D only released a single, MuGarden which features acoustic singer Gemma Griffiths and the song is rated among the best collaborations of the year.
