Khupe's Deputy Promises To Deal With Corruption At NSSA

MDC-T vice president Obert Gutu said the Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD) will get to the bottom of the corruption ruining the National Social Security Authority (NSSA).

In an interview with The Herald on Monday, Gutu said it is beyond debate that that NSSA is feeding trough of well-connected political elites. He said:

Surely, something has got to give because this is utterly and totally unacceptable.

What has happened to the NSSA forensic audit? Why is it taking forever to arrest and prosecute the culprits who looted NSSA fund?

For as long as the crooks and criminals who looted NSSA continue to be scot-free, then we haven’t even started fighting corruption in Zimbabwe.

NSSA’s forensic audit report which was tabled in Parliament in August revealed that the authority had been prejudiced of over US$175 million.

Furthermore, housing contracts awarded to undeserving companies have potentially prejudiced NSSA of US$104 million.
