ZIFA Issues Statement Over Macauley Bonne's Withdrawal From Warriors

The Zimbabwe Football Association has revealed that they were told that England-based Warriors striker, Macauley Bonne had medical examinations today, the reason why he is not going to be part of the Warriors team to play Botswana and Zambia in 2021 AFCON qualifiers matches.

Posting on Twitter, the association said:

Warriors camp update

@CAFCofficial has advised that @MBonne9 had a heart scan today [11/11/19], & will not join the Warriors for the matches against Botswana & Zambia.

He will feature in future matches when he recovers.

The statement comes after Bonne also issued his statement revealing that he was expected to undergo medical examinations and would always be in touch with Warriors team manager, Wellington Mpandare for updates.
