Teachers Found Writing ZIMSEC Exams For S_xual Partners

Four teachers at a school in Chiredzi allegedly conspired to write Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) exams for their lovers.

The four teachers allegedly wrote Geography, English and Mathematics papers for their lovers who were mostly external candidates. A NewsDay source said:

The teachers are said to have come up with a rendezvous where they would take the extra papers and write the exams while their partners fake sitting for the exam.

After the exam, the signed envelopes would be taken to a room and torn open and their partners’ exam papers would be replaced by the ones they would have written. Extra envelopes would be used before signatures are forged.

The conspiracy was exposed by a relative of one of the teachers involved in the scam, who had discovered the scandal.

The publication also established that the beneficiaries included a form 4 pupil, the wife of one one of the teachers some married partners staying in Chiredzi town.
