Matemadanda Advises The West To Ditch “Losing Parties” And “Join Zanu-PF”

Zanu PF National Political Commissar, Victor Matemadanda has advised Western countries to ditch opposition parties saying they were wasting their resources on projects destined to fail.

His remarks come as there are reports suggesting that Western countries have been sponsoring the opposition MDC in a bid to dislodge ZANU PF from power.

Addressing party supporters at a rally to mobilise support for the ZANU PF candidate in the Wedza Rural District Council Ward 4 by-election set for this Saturday, Matemadanda said:

My advice to the West is that they should not waste their resources supporting losing parties, come and join Zanu PF and have a taste of sweet victory.

Meanwhile, the opposition MDC has often claimed that the ruling ZANU PF does not win elections but engages in vote-buying, election results manipulation and intimidation of voters.

The party is still at loggerheads with the ruling party over the 2018 presidential elections which it claims were manipulated by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission in favour president Emmerson Mnangagwa.

The Constitutional Court, however, dismissed the allegations saying that the party had failed to present evidence to substantiate its claims.

  1. wasting their resources on projects destined to fail rather than spending it on ZANU PF projects destined for the pockets of the big chefs…….and join ZANU PF who have the taste, not of sweet victory, but of greed.
