Significant Rainfall Activity Expected From November 15
The Meteorological Services Department (MSD) has forecasted significant rainfall activity in the country from the 15th of November onwards.
MSD head of forecasting (Public Weather Service) Tichaona Zinyemba and another expert told Business Times that thunderstorms are expected across the country next week. Said the experts:
As Met, we do not forecast longterm temperature ranges, but chances of getting significant rainfall patterns which are spread across the country next week (November 15) are high.
Feedback… we witnessed isolated thunderstorms last week and expect this to occur next week. As of mid-month, we might see an increase in rainfall.
On Friday last week, some parts of the country, including Harare, received significant rainfall.
