ZANU PF Political Commissar, Victor Matemadanda has urged the ruling party to work towards the delivery of expected public goods.
Matemadanda added that unlike the opposition MDC was making noise at the expense of service delivery, ZANU PF needed to execute its duties and responsibilities bestowed upon it by the electorate in 2018. He added
Since the last election, those in the opposition establishment have been making noise claiming to have won the elections. They have taken their issues to all the places they could but the case remains the same.
As Zanu-PF cadres, you must know that the work is cut out for you and the people have given us the mandate to lead and push for national and economic development. At the end of the five-year term, Zimbabweans will realise who is fooling them.
His remarks come when the economic situation is fast deteriorating with the MDC and ZANU PF blaming each other for the misery.
Some analysts have recommended a dialogue between President Emmerson Mnangagwa and Nelson Chamisa to initiate dialogue whilst some believe that redollarisation can squash the inflation at the same time enhancing development.
