ZANU PF secretary for youth affairs Pupurai Togarepi backed President Emmerson Mnangagwa to sack from the party some bigwigs who are allegedly working against him by building their own power bases in the party.
Togarepi was speaking during a Zanu PF youth league meeting in Harare on Thursday. He said:
We are hunting with dogs that are not ours. They are busy making their own political names. We have some in government and the party who are now concentrating on building their own power bases and their corrupt deals.
They become angry when we name and shame them because they do not respect that you are the leader. They sit with MPs plotting against your vision.
Among those on the corrupt list was ZANU PF secretary for administration, Obert Mpofu, who has since filed a $10 million lawsuit against Matutu.
