IThemba for Girls Trust has expressed serious concern over reports suggesting that more than 6700 girls dropped out of primary and or secondary education this year due to pregnancy.

The Trust observed that the number has been growing over the years when the nation should have found ways to minimise the “epidemic” considering several socio-economic and health consequences associated with the childhood and teenage pregnancies.
