Acting President Led The Clean-Up Campaign In Harare

Acting President, Kembo Mohadi this Friday led this month’s national campaign held at Fife Avenue Shopping Centre in Harare.

Mohadi told the crowd that participated in the exercise that a clean environment was critical for the conservation of ecology for the benefit of future generations.

The clean-up exercise was launched last year and is running under the theme, “Zero Tolerance to Litter: My Environment, My Pride.

Harare is one of the cities in the country that have been hotspots for poor hygiene associated diseases including cholera in the most recent years.

With the rainy reason at hand, members of the public are urged to be very cautious considering that dirty will be carried into the city’s water sources.

Unfortunately, the city fathers have since revealed that they have inadequate chemicals to treat the water.
