"Economy To Further Decline, Power Generation To Be Cut..." Finance Minister
Zimbabwe’s Finance Minister, Professor Mthuli Ncube has projected that the economy will further deteriorate by 6.5% this year.
He also indicated that power generation will also be cut due to shrinking water levels at Kariba Dam.
Ncube’s remarks come when the situation in the country has already reached the “worst level of hell.”
Zimbabwe has a huge deficit in food, water, medicines, and electricity. Ncube attributes most of the shortages to drought which affected the agriculture sector and power generation.
