MSD Forecasts Thunderstorms In Some Parts Of The Country

The Meteorological Services Department (MSD) said that some parts of the country should expect isolated thunders showers in the afternoon and evening this Wednesday.

MSD head of forecasting, Tichaona Zinyemba, said that Mat South, Bulawayo, Midlands, Manicaland and Masvingo provinces should expect scattered rainfall activity. He said:

It is expected to be hot with chances of scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms in Matabeleland South, Bulawayo Metropolitan, Midlands, Manicaland and Masvingo tomorrow (today).

High temperatures are expected in the Mashonaland provinces. The MSD advised members of the public to wear loose-fitting and light-coloured clothing as well to take lots of fluids to stay hydrated and stay out of the sun while it is at its hottest.
