Aston Villa Hails Nakamba For 'Another Assured Performance'

English Premier League side Aston Villa has again hailed Warriors midfielder Marvelous Nakamba for his display, albeit in a 3-0 loss to reigning champions Manchester City.

In a post on its Twitter page, the club revealed that Nakamba won seven duels, a statistic only bettered by City’s Brazilian midfielder Fernadinho. The tweet read:

Despite the disappointing result, it was another assured performance from this man on Saturday, with only Fernandinho winning more duels (7).

Villa are 15th on the log with 11 points from 10 matches. Their next game is a Football League Cup against Wolverhampton Wanderers on 30 October 2019. The match kicks off at 9:45 pm Central Africa Time.
