ZERA Mum On This Week's Fuel Price Update

The Zimbabwe energy regulatory authority has not updated the nation as per their custom concerning fuel prices. ZERA usually announces fuel price increase or decreases over the weekend to let consumers know about the upcoming week. This is the 4th-week fuel has not been hiked since it was hiked from around $11 to $14.97 for petrol and from around $12 to $15.54 for diesel.

All ZERA social media platforms have no anticipated updates from the authority. Weekly fuel updates were introduced a few weeks ago as the ministry said it was imperative that fuel prices be updated every week to make sure the prices don’t lag behind. 

Social media has already started circulating a fake image of supposed weekly price hike that puts petrol at $23.97 and diesel at $24.79.
