AirZim, ACSA Settle On A Payment Plan
After ACSA grounded the single Airzim aircraft in Joburg over non-payment of parking, landing and passenger services fees last week, Air Zimbabwe dispatched a team that negotiated that the South Africans release the aircraft.
The Herald spoke to Airzim’s corporate services manager Mr Tafadzwa Mazonde who said;
We resumed our flights on Friday and today, it must have gone to Johannesburg in the morning. We got all the clearances and we have been allowed to resume operations. Of course, there were payment plans and everything.
FeedbackAirZimbabwe has been battling a mountain of problems for a while and it only operates one aircraft that service the Harare Jourburg, Vic Falls, Dar Er Salam, Bulawayo, Vic Falls route.
