Mughodhi Apostolic Church In A Leadership Wrangle

A fortnight after the death of its founding leader, a leadership wrangle has ensued at Mughodhi Apostolic Church between the late leader’s son and one of the church elders Tony Sigauke Sunday Mail reports.

The problem is reportedly emanating for the church constitution which the late leader is said to have either ignored or was not aware of as he appointed his son his successor on his death bed while the constitution reads otherwise and leaves Sigauke in the position to lead the church.

Sigauke spoke to the publication and said:

It has his signature. We were together in coming up with the constitution and we all proceeded to the High Court where we signed it in harmony. So, his deathbed wish is actually a violation of the constitution, which I together with other elders do not agree with.

This is yet another church war raging after the AFM church war left the church split in two and details of the war spilling into the public domain.
