School Girl Claims To Have Framed MDC MP For R_ape

A Form 6 pupil from Bulawayo who claimed that she was r_ped by Magwegwe MP Anele Ndebele (MDC) has recanted, saying she had consensual s_x with the legislator before they terminated the relationship after he discovered that she was still at school.

In an affidavit that she submitted to Kezi police, who had taken over the investigation, the 19-year-old girl wrote:

I wish to withdraw a fake report I filed against Anele Ndebele on Monday, October 14. I claimed that he r_ped me when in actual fact I had an affair with Anele sometime during the festive season and I had consensual s_x with him. The affair ended in February this year after Anele discovered that I was still at school.

The girl said that she framed Ndebele thinking that her parents would call and discuss the matter since he had worked with her father sometime back.

She added that she was horrified by how serious her indiscretions were after the story had been published in the newspapers and Ndebele had been arrested.
