Embattled former tourism Minister Prisca Mupfumira is set to lose her senatorial seat and her Zanu PF central committee position after Mashonaland West Province recommended that she be recalled, the Herald reports.
This was revealed by Ziyambi Ziyambi who happens to be the Mash West Province Chairman when he said:
We have already met as PCC and written a letter to secretary for Administration Dr Obert Mpofu, Legal Affairs secretary Cde Munyaradzi Paul Mangwana as well as the National chairperson Cde Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri advising them of our decision to recall Mupfumira as a Central Committee member and from being a Senator.
Mupfumira was this week hailed before the court over further corruption charges. She had been released on bail a couple of days prior to her second court appearance on further corruption charges.
