Former Minister of tourism, Prisca Mupfumira, who is on trial for corruption, was reportedly ejected from a Politburo meeting at ZANU PF Headquarters in Harare today.
A picture of Mupfumira (above) apparently leaving the meeting was posted online by a Twitter account affiliated to the party @zanupf_patriots
Mupfumira is currently out on bail facing charges of corruption and abuse of office committed during her time as Minister Of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare.
She was one of the few high profile politicians that have been arrested on corruption charges since President Mnangagwa took over power in November 2017. None of them have been convicted.
Ejected today as a sign of bringing about moral changes but she will back at the party tomorrow to resume her old ways
She should be arrested and have her assets stripped to the amount stated ,failure to pay should result in a lengthy s entrance with hard labour to pay back her debt to Zimbabwean taxpayers she has been defrauding and who’s economy her brethren have ruined completely
