PICTURE: How The New Parliament Of Zimbabwe Will Look

China was contracted to construct Zimbabwe’s new Parliament House in Mt Hampden, about 35 kilometres outside Harare. The company says that the design of the new structure which is already under construction was inspired by the country’s majestic Victoria Falls and the Great Zimbabwe Ruins from which Zimbabwe got its name.   1. A very impressive building. The downside is that buildings are not the essence of good governance. Integrity and a genuine concern for all sectors of the Zimbabwean society would be more impressive.

    Forget the building sort out the government and distance yourselves from china and its bloated self importance
