5 More Contractors Assigned To Work On Beitbridge Chirundu Road - Report
The government has assigned 5 more companies to do some roadworks on the Beitbridge Chirundu highway the Herald reports.
The 5 are
- Tensor Systems,
- Masimba Construction,
- Fossil Contractors,
- Exodus Company
- Bitumen World
these 5 were assigned 20 kilometres each and they will commence work soon. Transport Minister Joel Biggie Matiza while assessing progress on the road-rail bridge in Norton confirmed the news and said:
There is a lot of progress going on. We recently finished the selection process of the five more contractors and the contracts have been signed. Next week the companies will start moving to their respective sites. That has been our plea that the project gets the necessary attention it deserves.
