“We Want To Have A Clean Voting Exercise,” ZANU PF Political Commissar

ZANU PF Political Commissar, Victor Matemadanda who is also the deputy minister of defence has urged his party to conduct credible elections as the party embarks on the restructuring process.

His remarks come as the party has scheduled Harare District Coordinating Committee (DCC) elections for this Saturday. The Gokwe Central legislator said:

We want to have a clean voting exercise to ensure the party come up with proper structures, which will be used in the formation of other structures such as cells, wards, branches and provincial structures.

The Harare DCC elections shall be overseen by 600 delegates drawn from Masvingo, Mashonaland East, Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland West, Manicaland, Matabeleland North, Matabeleland South and Midlands.

The restructuring process is said to be part of the ruling party’s preparation for the 2023 elections. Analysts argue that the process also targets to deal with factionalism that is reported to be in the party.

  1. ZANU pf is a joke the clean voting exercise should have been started in 1980 not the one party state communist monster that it is and will always be
The use of commissar and comrade are evidence that this mind set prevails ,what point has there ever been of having elections when yo have no intention of relinquishing power to the citizens to determine a path they choose
If zanu ever looses they know their stolen golden goose will die, no more corrupt gvmt tenders filling their pockets with tax payers and aid money financing a facist baed militia they call police and army paid for by illicit mineral deals and endless foreign incited propaganda by regimes just as abusive to their populations
Long live the day when the cancer zanu is gone
