Kajese Retires From Govt, More Senior Officials To Follow - Report

The late President Robert Mugabe’s former chief of protocol, Munyaradzi Kajese, has retired from President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s administration.

Business Times reports that Kajese resigned last week and his retirement is one of many expected among senior officials as the government brings in new people to key portfolios.

Kajese was Mugabe’s chief of protocol for over three decades. He retained his role under Mugabe’s successor, President Mnangagwa in 2017.

Besides Kajese, chief secretary in the Office of the President and Cabinet Misheck Sibanda and presidential spokesperson George Charamba retained their posts from the Mugabe-era.
