ICT Minister, Kazembe Kazembe and Bindura North legislator, Kenneth Musanhi, are said to have nearly fought each other on Saturday over the low turn out at first lady, Auxillia Mnangagwa’s event in Bindura.
Reports suggest that the duo accused each other of the low attendance and had to be held back by Mashonaland Central Provincial state intelligence agents.
Speaking to Zim Live, a source which attended the event said:
Kazembe and Musanhi exchanged harsh words and were literally restrained to avoid a physical altercation. There was a dispute over who was to blame over the low turnout.
The first lady is said to have been disappointed by the number of people who had gathered. She is reported to have called for the dismissal of political commissar Monica Mavhunga, who’s also the provincial affairs minister.
The meeting is said to have been delayed by three hours because of the low turn out with some attributing it to growing factionalism in the ruling ZANU PF.
