Popular Harare pleasure joint, Extra Mile reopened its doors over the weekend Daily News reports. The open space joint had been closed for renovations for 2 months now.

The venue’s spokesperson spoke to the Daily News and said:

The venue had been closed for renovations and it is now back with a new management and rebranded to Electric Quench.

Musicians who spoke to the same publication also expressed relief that Extra Mile now Electic Quench reopened its doors. Peter Moyo‘s response to the news of the joint opening praised the venue for its adhoc services:

The joint serves as the hunting ground for many musicians. It is good that the joint is back and we are so happy
