Mr Ugly 2019 To Be Held on 23 October

The famous Mr Ugly contest will be held on the 23rd of October at the City Sports Club. Mbeu and the Mhodzi tribe are expected to perform at the event according to the Daily News:

This year’s event will see 15 men battling it out for the title.The Mr Ugly contest is synonymous with Masvinu who has won the title more than thrice a feat that made him the crowd’s favourite.

The Mr Ugly pageant hogged the showbiz limelight in 2015 following the historic defeat of Masvinu by one Mison Sere. Masvinu refused to concede defeat, accusing the adjudicators of bias.

However, Masvinu may not be part of the contest this year after he was dethroned for gross indiscipline last year and was replaced with his first runner up Fanuel Musekiwa.
