ED To Lead Clean-Up Campaign In Chinhoyi

President Emmerson Mnangagwa will this Friday lead the National Clean-Up campaign at Mzimba Shopping Centre in Chinhoyi, and then officiate at the Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT)’s 15th graduation ceremony.

Mashonaland West provincial development coordinator, Cecilia Chitiyo, said the province was ready to host the President. She said:

It is all systems go for the National Clean-Up where the President (Mnangagwa) will lead a brief ceremony as he has another commitment at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT).

The centre of activity will be Mzimba Shops in Cold Stream suburb. Preparations have been going on and we are ready to host the President as a province.

The national clean-up is conducted between 8 am and 10 am on the first Friday of every month.

The programme was initiated by President Mnangagwa on 5 December 2018 and its objective is to instil a sense of cleanliness in citizens across the country.
