Kaizer Chiefs and Warriors winger, Khama Billiat, said that his club’s 2-0 win over Absa Premiership rivals Golden Arrows at the FNB Stadium on Tuesday came as a result of sticking to the coach’s game plan.
Speaking to SuperSport TV after the match, Billiat hailed the cub’s supporters for never giving up on the team. He said:
We stuck to the game plan, we didn’t go all out in terms of going to press them in the first minute. It really worked for us.
It’s been hard for us but through working hard and following the instructions of the coach, the supporters, they never give up hey.
Billiat was named Man-of-the-match and was instrumental in both goals. He won the penalty which Daniel Cardoso converted while he also had a hand in Nkosinathi Sibisi ‘s own goal.
