Justice Alphas Chitakunye To Hear The Ecocash - RBZ Case On Friday

The case where Cassava Smartech is challenging the RBZ ban on some of their operations will be heard on Friday by Justice Chitakunye ZimPriceChecks reports. Ecocash among other mobile money operators was directed by the government to stop their platform from doing Cash-In and Cash-Out transactions after citizens had complained about the exorbitant charges these transactions were attracting.

Fresh details coming from the High Court indicate that the case between Cassava Smartech Zimbabwe Limited, the owners and operators of Ecocash, and the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe will be heard by heard before Justice Alphas Chitakunye on Friday.

Ecocash decided to go the legal route yesterday by filling an urgent application against the ban.
