The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority(ZERA) has announced the new fuel prices effective Monday, 30 September 2019.
A litre of diesel will now cost RTGS$12.42 while that of petrol blend will cost RTGS$11.76.
ZERA said that the changes in the fuel prices are due to FOB price movements and the revised duty regime (SI 161 0f 2019) applicable from Monday 30 September 2019.
The Authority added that operators may, however, sell at prices below the cap depending on their trading advantages.
Fuel price increases are now a weekly affair and no longer news worthy. Government leads the way in price increases and the rest of us follow. Surprisingly though gvt blames everybody except itself for the chaos in our economy. They day charity begins at home.
Zimbabwe a kid in need of care: no guardian
Zimbabwe is in the Intensive Care Unit – however the attending doctors (Cabinet ministers et al) are clueless and the drugs (USD$) are not available. This normally results in a very painful death of the patient.(Zimbabwe)
