Ths solitary goal was scored by Warriors striker Prince Dube in the first half.
In other matches played on Sunday, Manica Diamonds beat Chicken Inn 6-5 on penalties while Black Rhinos defeated TelOne 2-0.
Highlanders, Manica Diamonds and Black Rhinos are through to the next round of the competition.
