Fire yesterday gutted down the Gwabalanda wing of Hillside teacher’s college. While no casualties were recorded, the entire second flow burned down and study material items that include printers and laptops and books belonging to students were lost in the inferno.
Causes of the fire could not be quickly ascertained and according to the Bulawayo City Fire Department’s acting senior divisional fire officer, investigations into the fire are currently underway.
