FULL THREAD: "Folly Of Making Populist Statements," Mliswa Speaks As Malema Praises Grace Mugabe
Norton legislator (independent), Temba Mliswa has criticised Julius Malema, leader of South Africa opposition party, Economic Freedom Fighters for praising former first lady, Grace Mugabe. Malema who was paying his last respects to the late founding leader of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe at the Blue Roof, Mugabe family’s residence, had described Grace as a strong woman.
The praises did not auger well with Mliswa who was reportedly barred from seeing Grace at the same time Malema was at the Blue Roof. Posting on microblogging site, Twitter, Mliswa said:

5/ The folly of making populist statements is 1. They must appeal to the majority & 2. They mustn’t allow you to lose credibility from those whose popularity you seek.
6/ The strong woman’s strength was in the abuse of people & making their lives miserable. The empty National Sports stadium bares testimony to her unpopularity
