The Sports Minister took the time to explain why the SRC came to a decision which they said will be made into law earlier on yesterday, The SRC using twitter announced to the nation that:

No athlete will represent Zimbabwe at the Olympic Games if they have not represented Zimbabwe at least 3 years prior to the Olympic Games and this will be made into law
