World-renowned singer, Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam, popularly known as AKON has said that the media has a huge role to play in tarnishing or cleansing the image and integrity of any country. He alleged that more people are dying in America compared to those dying in war-prone Iran but the American media chooses not to publicise those deaths. Akon added that negative publicity mostly by African countries has an adverse impact on their countries. Watch the video below.
