PICTURE: How Energy Mutodi Responded To Itayi Dzamara’s Abduction In 2015

Of late the government has dismissed Dr Magombeyi’s abduction and called it a fake abduction especially after he was found on Thursday evening seemingly unharmed. In response to the fake abductions accusations, one Twimbo unearthed a Facebook post from 15 March 2015 by Energy Mutodi.  Mutodi referred to Itayi Dzamara’s case as a fake abduction and also blamed the MDC for stagging the abduction to bad mouth the government. Mutodi also called the missing activists names in the post.

The Deputy Minister of Information, Publicity & Broadcasting Services has been under fire of late for his utterances and responses on issues affecting the nation. Like how he called Ndebele people immigrants from South Africa among other things. The government has been saying the case was a fake abduction with the president even issuing a stern warning to would-be perpetrators and calling “fake” abductions actions of terrorism.
