Maintenance Of Peace And Order Bill Passed By Parliament

The Maintenance of Peace and Order Bill (MOPO) was last week passed by both Houses of Parliament, that is, the National Assembly and the Senate.

The Bill was approved by the National Assembly on Thursday 29th August.

It will now be sent to the President for his assent and gazetting as an Act.
