The popular South African duo is expected to be in town this coming weekend to charm the fans one more time before the year ends. The concert which has been named “Back In Town” will be held at the HICC on 6 September. The duo will bring their live band and sing a collection of their songs which includes Afro Pop, Kwaito, Kwela and Marabi.
Sunday Mail spoke to Mafikizolo’s manager who said:
We have been there before and we are promising to move the game to a new high. Our catalogue is huge, comprising both new and old songs. But of note are the songs we recently did with Jah Prayzah and Wizkid, they will definitely be part of the playlist.Magic is what the people of Zimbabwe should expect on the day. My team is now good to go for the Harare gig.

Mafikizolo and Jah Prayzah have collaborated on 2 songs so far, Mazuva Akanaka and Sendekera.
Organisers of the event have also commented on the upcoming concert saying it will be flawless and all is set for the gig. One organiser who spoke to the same publication said:
Revellers do not need to worry about anything. Tight security will be provided both inside and outside the show venue, the sound system will be top notch and cold drinks will be served. In short, we are expecting to deliver a flawless gig
Tocky Vibes, Selmor Mtukudzi, Andy Muridzo, Suluman Chimbetu, Gemma Griffins and Sasha Amadhuve will be among the local supporting artists.
