Highlanders head coach, Mandla Mpofu, has said that he was not losing hope because of a 3 match ultimatum which the club gave him
He revealed that he will try to bring the best out of the team. Speaking after losing their third consecutive match on Thursday, going down 2-1 at the hands of Triangle United, Mpofu said:
This is the industry where we rely on results, the most important thing is can I channel all the energy that I have into the team and see if they play well and win games.
If I am not a good coach I will go and if I am a good coach I will stay with the team.
The coaches were told that if Bulawayo giants fail to get at least six points from the next three matches, including the one they lost to Triangle, they will be shown the exit door.
Bosso now needs to win both their match against Mushowani at Barbourfields Stadium and the other against Hwange which they play on away ground.
The club has since the departure of Madinda Ndlovu been struggling to return to its winning ways.
Madinda was replaced by:
- Technical Manager – Mandla Mpofu
- Assistant Coach – Bekithemba Ndlovu
- Goalkeepers Coach – Tembo Chuma
- Fitness Trainer – Brian Keti
- Welfare Manager – Vezigama Dlodlo
