The discussion on the seriousness of President Emmerson Mnangagwa about the deal between Zimbabwe and Japan started when Alex T Magaisa, law expert and former adviser to MDC founding father, Morgan Tsvangirai posted a picture of Mnangagwa in a meeting with Japan officials.
Posting on Twitter, Magaisa said:
This is a picture of Zimbabwe’s President and his delegation meeting a Japanese delegation at the on-going @ticad7 the development conference where African leaders are hosted by the Japanese. Look closely at the picture, particularly the desk area and discuss.

I will play the devil’s advocate, give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that they were audio-recording the meetings & being climate-conscious by helping to reduce the number of trees cut down in the production of notepads and pencils, lol.
A lot has been said. I, however, don’t believe the pic captured everything. It seems some are behind. Usually, there is the secretariat. Those on the table are for the negotiations, not Administrative duties. Which side does the white guy on the left belong to?

We had a chap who would rock up like that to classes at uni. No notes, lecture notes, no pen, nothing. Failed semester. Came back the following year with stationery for everyone
