After the Police prohibited Demos in major cities, The MDC led by Nelson Chamisa has decided to stage demos in growth points the NewsDay reports. The MDC has reportedly notified responsible authority about planned protests.
According to the same publication, protests are planned in the following areas:
The opposition party leadership has since notified police in Mashonaland East, Manicaland and Mashonaland West on plans to protest at growth points and smaller towns in the provinces on Friday and Saturday. In Mashonaland East, protests are targeting Mahusekwa, Mutoko, Murehwa, Marondera, Goromonzi and Wedza, while Rusape, Chipinge and Nyanga are prime targets in Manicaland.
The mobilisation has reportedly started in Zanu PF strongholds even though the Police are still banning protests with Marondera being the latest town where protests were prohibited. The MDC Marondera Organising Secterary said this to NewsDay:
The police refused to grant us the go-ahead and we have since been instructed by the party leadership to withdraw the protests until further notice. I will notify the police of the withdrawal. I think the withdrawal instruction also applies to other demonstrations across the province

Childish games by Chamisa, wapererwa here bhururu. I know you are trying to prive a point that thete is no place in zim that you can carry out demos, after uou get the proof then what? If thry let you do the demos what exactly is the objective expected ftom them? Am sure like many of your supporters, i don not know? Or it hasnt been spelt out to your supporters. Stop the demo strategies they put a plug on that. Think outside the box, shut down towns and cities with stayaways. you chamisa always stays away, yes from demos. Let everyone fo likewise, its safer
