WATCH: Water Crisis As People Drink Contaminated Water In Rural Zimbabwe

The residents of rural Shurugwi are desperate for water following the drought that has hit the country since 2018. They have come to rely on digging water holes, and waiting for hours to fill just small containers with unsafe water. One woman in the video says going to the water holes also carries other risks for women such as rape.
